Our Fish

SELCO Lakes are the home to a number of different species of fish. The principal ones include largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and channel catfish. Their numbers are healthy and have produced bass and catfish over eight pounds to the lucky fishermen ( and women) who pursue them on our lakes. The crappie and bluegill can provide hours of entertainment to any of our members and particularly our youth. Earthworms, minnows and crappie jigs are the preferred baits for these very popular panfish.
